At Citizens Advice Luton we can give guidance and help with housing issues including:

  • Check your eligibility for help with housing costs
  • Housing register queries and medical forms
  • Neighbour disputes
  • Disrepair and safety issues
  • Navigating the council’s homelessness service

Where there is a more complex query, our close partnership with Luton Law Centre enables us to make referrals for those who need specialist housing advice.

Our up to date solicitors list gives details of all local housing solicitors, some of whom provide free initial consultations.

Please note we are unable to advise landlords on tenant issues. You can try the National Residential Landlord’s Association. Also, whilst we can give basic advice to leaseholders, the Leasehold Advisory Service is a more specialised service offering free initial advice.
