Meet Mo

Mo had previously been a client but returned to CAL saying he was really struggling due to being unemployed.

He had a mortgage to cover and trying to keep up to date with this meant he was unable to pay for other essentials.

We were able to help Mo with a foodbank voucher to give three days worth of food. We also provided a free SIM card with unlimited calls and text and 40GB of data each month. We gave comprehensive advice on energy efficiency and put him through for a £75 top up voucher for his prepayment meters. We completed a benefit check and found he may be able to apply for a ‘support for mortgage interest’ loan from the DWP.
