Luton 2040 is a vision for Luton to be a healthy, fair and sustainable town where everyone can thrive and no-one has to live in poverty.
The Luton 2040 vision was first published in October 2020, setting a long-term vision for the town with strategic priorities focussed on achieving this.

are key to creating a town free of poverty which is at the heart of the Luton 2040 vision.
Partners across the town help shape the direction of the vision through representation on partnership boards and involvement in networks that drive key work.
Citizens Advice Luton is proud to have signed up and created its pledge to the initiative.
We have pledged to strengthen Luton’s frontline workforce through Advice First Aid – equipping partner organisations with the knowledge, tools and confidence to identify financial and social problems early and connect residents to the right support.
Our pledge supports Luton 2040’s ambition to improve population wellbeing and reduce inequalities by enabling earlier intervention, better referrals and stronger partnership working, alongside our targeted Healthier Wealthier Families programme.
