Trainee Advice Session Supervisor
We are looking to recruit a general adviser to train up to become an Advice Session Supervisor who will help manage and deliver our advice service.
Salary: £19,500 Per Annum (pro rata)
Hours: 30 per week (4 days)
Contract Type: Fixed Term: 12 Month Contract (possible extension subject to funding)
Citizens Advice Luton is a well-respected local charity with nearly 30 years’ experience of delivering free, independent and impartial information, advice and casework services which meet the changing needs of local residents. Our aims are to provide the independent, impartial, confidential and free advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
Once trained, the role will involve supporting and managing a team of assessors (volunteers and paid staff) as well as giving general advice to clients using a range of delivery channels. The successful candidate will provide both consultative support as well as check case write-ups to ensure quality criteria is met and assist to develop the skills and confidence of the front line team.
Initially the role will be a hybrid working model with a mix of office and home working which will be reviewed in light of Covid restriction easing.
