Training Support Assistant
We are looking to recruit a Training Support Assistant to assist the Advice Services Manager in the delivery of the Citizens Advice Training programme.
Salary: £22,500 per annum pro rata – actual salary £13,682 per annum
Hours: 22.5 per week (days and hours negotiable)
Contract Type: Fixed Term: 12 Month Contract (possible extension subject to funding)
Citizens Advice Luton is a well-respected local charity with nearly 30 years’ experience of delivering free, independent and impartial information, advice and casework services which meet the changing needs of local residents. Our aims are to provide the independent, impartial, confidential and free advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
The role will encompass recruitment of volunteers, liaising with stakeholders, maintaining volunteer training records, delivering training and supporting volunteers through the programme. Training will be delivered face to face and online, depending on the latest government guidelines. This is a new and exciting role which will enable us to expand our volunteer numbers and deliver an enhanced digital advice service.
The role will be home based initially due to ongoing Covid-19 measures. Moving forward, we will move to a hybrid working model with a mix of office and home working.
