Help To Claim Supervisor
We are looking to recruit a Supervisor to help manage and deliver our “Help To Claim” project.
Salary: £25,500 Per Annum (Pro Rata)
Hours: 37 per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term to March 2022 (possible extension subject to funding)
Citizens Advice Luton is a well-respected local charity with nearly 30 years’ experience of delivering free, independent and impartial information, advice and casework services which meet the changing needs of local residents. Our aims are to provide the independent, impartial, confidential and free advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
We are looking to recruit a Supervisor to help manage and deliver our “Help To Claim” project which offers end-to-end support to help people make a new Universal Credit claim and be ready for when their first payment arrives. The Supervisor will guide, support and quality check the Help to Claim Advisers who assist clients using a variety of channels (telephone advice and web chat, virtual face to face appointments and email advice).
We are looking for someone with good IT and organisational skills as well as someone who has the ability to quality assure (QAA) other people’s work and provide feedback in a constructive manner while fostering good working relationships. You will have support from the Advice Services Manager as well as being a part of a large team working towards providing the best quality service and outcomes to our clients.
This is an important project within Citizens Advice to ensure all people who need it get help to claim Universal Credit
The role will be home based initially due to ongoing Covid-19 measures.
